We’ve put together the best dog-friendly brunches in the UK, where your furry friends will be welcomed with open arms.

1. The Table Cafe

Best for: A dog-friendly staycation in the capital

The Table Cafe has an award-winning brunch menu that covers sweet treats like pancakes and french toast, as well as classic eggs benedict and loads of tasty veggie and vegan options. They pride themselves on sourcing their ingredients from local businesses, making it not just a great dog-friendly brunch option but one of the best dog-friendly cafes in London!

2. Jack’s Brunch Kitchen

Location: Cotswolds

Best for: Exploring the Cotswolds

It’s all in the name at Jack’s Brunch Kitchen, where they make breakfast an art. Classic brunch dishes such as brioche butties and salmon-topped eggs mixed with buttermilk waffles and an unusual Canadian-inspired poutine. Of course, four-legged friends are treated like kings here too. Although there’s a lovely space outside in warm weather, you don’t have to shiver in the cold as pooches are welcome inside too.

3. Rabble

Best for: A Scottish city break

Choose from a simple breakfast or a blow-out boozy brunch at Rabble, one of Edinburgh’s top dog-friendly restaurants. Drink cocktails and bottomless prosecco along with a selection of continental pastries and a hot breakfast dish. 4. Lucky Beach Cafe

Not only has the seafront Lucky Beach Cafe been named as the UK’s Best Beach Cafe and the UK’s best sustainable restaurant, but it also welcomes dogs with open arms. You couldn’t ask for a better location right on the beach and the brunch menu is super innovative, including pear and pecan porridge, pulled pork eggs benedict and slow-cooked shakshuka.

5. The Boatyard

Best for: Harbour-side walks on Newcastle’s coast

The super local, independent Boatyard Cafe, right on the water in Cullercoats, Newcastle, has been welcoming dogs with water bowls and treats since day one. This beautiful little dog-friendly café and outside terrace is the perfect brunch stop before a long walk on the beach in Aberdeen. Open from 8.30am, at Cafe AHOY! you can enjoy a full Scottish breakfast or an indulgent stack of gluten free pancakes, while dogs have their own special menu that includes doggy ice cream and a ‘Barkin’ Brunch’.

9. M Victoria Street

Best for: A specifically four-legged brunch

Every Saturday, M Victoria Street puts on an incredible three-course brunch that not only humans, but dogs too can enjoy. The menu has two sides - one for two legs and one for our four-legged friends. For two legs, expect treats like steak and eggs, and pancake stacks, while Fido can look forward to chicken jerky, biltong risotto and bacon and peanut butter cookies that sound almost too good for dogs!
