Guests say

Harbour Heights is a well-equipped cottage with stunning views and a homely atmosphere. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness, comfortable beds, and the convenience of having everything needed for a relaxing stay. The location offers great access to Dartmouth's attractions, albeit with challenging steep steps and limited parking. Some guests noted maintenance issues, such as lighting and plumbing, but these were often promptly addressed.

The property generally receives high praise for cleanliness, with guests noting it as immaculate and spotless. However, a few guests mentioned areas needing a deep clean and issues with kitchenware, which slightly lowers the score.

The location is highly regarded for its spectacular views and proximity to local amenities. The challenging access due to steep steps and narrow roads is noted, which may not suit everyone's needs, particularly those with mobility issues.

Guests find the beds very comfortable and the property cosy, contributing to a restful stay. Some guests mentioned issues with mattress covers and pillows, which slightly impacts the comfort score.

The property is praised for being well-stocked and providing necessary amenities. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as lighting problems and heating control, which suggest room for improvement in this area.

While guests have expressed satisfaction with the overall provision of amenities, there is no consistent mention of gifts or special touches that would fall under 'thoughtfulness'. Therefore, this score is set to null.

The property is in a lovely position, very well equipped and comfortable with beautiful views over the estuary. We were extremely lucky to have wonderful weather for the whole week. Our only disappointment was the decking area. The trees around the decking are pretty overgrown which limits the amount of sun you enjoy while sitting there.

The property is very well equipped, perfectly matches the photographs online and the views are truly spectacular. Walking upstairs each morning to see the boats bobbing on the estuary and see (and hear!) the steam train whistling just couldn’t ever get old. The beds were very comfortable, heating was easy to control and we found everything we needed was to hand - even down to a torch, which came in very handy for the evening dog walk. We would stay again in a heartbeat - 3 happy grown ups, a delighted toddler and 2 content and tired doggies. Thank you!

Also it took us over 40 minutes to find the property. I think it should be explained more thoroughly that the property was totally unsuitable for people of age or disability and the narrow perpendicular roads should have been pointed out at time of booking so that drivers who were not confident could avoid this booking. Very high standard of bedding and towels. Unfortunately there was a very nasty odour upstairs, we think coming from the conservatory but not sure and we could not open the upstairs windows. Certainly needs looking into.
