Myself, my partner and our springer had the best time enjoying the secluded feel away from the world and what felt like a retreat from our working lives. Listening and observing the wildlife all around us and staring up at the stars at night was truly peaceful. We would definitely recommend the Kidcleugh Hide for the perfect getaway to relax and unwind.

Itâs right on the Southern Uplands Way so you could walk right from the door. We could have stayed for at least another week!! Although the kitchen was small, it was very well equipped - possibly the best weâve ever experienced! The bathroom had spa-like vibes and the upstairs living area was incredibly comfortable and spacious. The garden was lovely, however weâd not realised there was a pond - thankfully the dog didnât take a dip, but as he was young, we had to accompany him each time we let him out. The property was perfectly situated with a decent sized co-op, butchers, and bakery within 10 mins and there was loads of sightseeing all within a hour. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to get away from it all!

The Hide itself is absolutely ideal and has everything you need, the views from the big windows are incredible and the whole place feels like a home from home. Our Dog (Stanley) also loved the paddock and burn to play in! Can't recommend Kidcleugh Hide any higher!
