A large driveway with ample off-road parking greets you upon arrival at the property, leading you up an external staircase to an elevated position amongst the woodland. Kick off your boots and step over the threshold and into the hallway, continuing through to the beautifully appointed open-plan kitchen/diner, featuring a bright and airy décor with timber flooring and natural lighting invited in through the patio doors. The stylishly designed kitchen is amply-equipped with all of the necessities to prepare an array of tasty treats that the group will be delighted to gather around the dining table to indulge in. If you're lucky enough to get the warmer weather, head out to the patio to enjoy a tranquil glass of wine in a picturesque woodland setting, or step outside before the rest of the group rises in the morning to enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee. It was difficult to know it was the right cottage as there is no name on the gate but at least the photo looked like the property. I have some mobility problems and was a bit shocked at the high steps and steep slope up to the property, it was particularly difficult to carry our bags up from and down to the car. No problems with the cottage except that the heating did not work on the timer, so it was on with the switch and turned off when we didn't need it. Otherwise everything was fine especially the friendly Robin!
