When you decide to leave this splendid apartment, although there are quite a few steps to be taken to the reach the glorious Whipsiderry Beach, youll be justly rewarded for your efforts when you discover the large cliffs sheltering this surprisingly quiet and breathtakingly beautiful beach, voted in the top 20 of Europe's best beaches by the Sunday Times. Also close by is the tranquil Porth Beach, one of the safest for swimming in the Newquay area and a delightful walk along the coastal path will take you to prestigious Watergate Bay, home to many watersports activities and fine restaurants for you to sample. Indeed, if you catch the tide at its lowest it is possible to walk to Watergate Bay entirely along the beach from Porth or Whipsiderry, a wonderful journey that will not be easily forgotten. The village offers a shop, cafés, restaurants and a pub on the sandy beach, plus nearby is the South West Coast Path, which boasts spectacular scenery. Watergate Bay, with its rolling waves, surf schools, café and pubs, is a short walk away, and the popular resort of Newquay with its beaches, watersports, pubs, restaurants, zoo and aquarium is well worth a visit.

A good centre for exploring although too far out to walk anywhere. A lovely welcoming cream tea and Charlie loved the sausage rolls!
