The property offers a delightful stay with numerous mentions of its idyllic setting and the added charm of local wildlife and farm animals.
Reviewers frequently mention the cleanliness of the cottage, describing it as spotless, fresh, and tidy. The absence of farm odours and mud, despite its rural setting, is particularly noted.
The location is highly regarded for its tranquillity, beautiful views, and proximity to local attractions and walks. The peacefulness and lack of traffic noise contribute to the high score.

The cottage is well-equipped according to guests, with mentions of a welcoming bottle of wine and biscuits for the dog. However, some guests suggest minor updates and the absence of a DVD player as listed, which slightly lowers the score.
The owners' thoughtfulness is evident through the warm welcomes and small gifts such as wine and dog biscuits. While these gestures are greatly appreciated, it is politely noted that such gifts are offered at the owners' discretion and may not be guaranteed.

Cosy, comfortable and the views are amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back. It even snowed! Highly recommend

Just be aware the garden is not enclosed if taking your pooch. Couple of pubs close by The bear we had to drive to Malt Shovel which is within walking distance. I would definitely recommend a stay here and we hope to return next year.

Well equipped and very comfortable. Although in quiet, rural location it is very near some great places for example; Wirksworth, Matlock, the Ecclesbourne Railway & Crich Tramway Museum. A fantastic getaway!
