The house was clean, well equipped, and spacious. The garden was beautiful to sit in and it was lovely having a pond out the front to sit by and to be able to feed the fish. The location of the property was peaceful and we discovered lots of places to visit within reasonable driving distance including Twycross Zoo, Calke Abbey, the 1620s House and the castle at Ashby.

Very spacious and comfortable living rooms and bedrooms and well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and strong showers. Lovely welcome gifts and many extras provided handwash etc. Great garden for our dog and surrounding land and views and the koi Carp were amazing. Loads of great places and country parks to visit close by, Calke Abbey, Staunton Harold, Moira Furnace museum and canal, national space centre and numerous museums in Leicester. Loved our holiday here and will be returning. Thank you for sharing your lovely home. Margaret, Steven, Theresa and Eric.
