Roselle is a highly praised cottage, celebrated for its welcoming atmosphere, well-tended secure garden, and suitability for dogs. Guests consistently note its cleanliness, comfort, and the thoughtful touches such as a welcome pack. The property's location is appreciated for its privacy, proximity to local amenities, and scenic walks, making it an ideal retreat for both relaxation and exploration. The cottage's facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen and a power shower, contribute to an enjoyable stay, although minor maintenance points are mentioned.

Guests frequently commend the cottage for its cleanliness, describing it as 'spotlessly clean' with 'beautifully clean' surroundings. There is a single mention of a musky smell and stained carpets, but these appear to be isolated comments amidst overall positive feedback.

The location is highly regarded for its privacy, accessibility to local amenities, and proximity to nature, with many guests enjoying the nearby walks and wildlife. The presence of a bus route adds convenience. However, the exact distance from key attractions is not detailed, preventing a perfect score.

Comfort is a strong point for Roselle, with guests finding the property 'homely', 'comfortable', and 'spacious'. The beds and seating are specifically mentioned as being very comfortable, contributing to the overall positive experience.

The cottage's facilities are generally praised, including a well-stocked kitchen and secure garden. However, there are comments about the need for minor improvements such as a hairdryer, a larger TV, and updates to the oven and shower, suggesting room for enhancement.

The thoughtfulness of the hosts is evident through mentions of a welcome pack and provisions for dogs. While these gestures are greatly appreciated by guests, it is important to note that such personal touches, although common, may vary and are not guaranteed with every stay.

We did have a slight problem with the toilet not flushing I contacted the owner and he quickly resolved the issue the septic tank was full that was dealt with quickly. Our stay was very relaxing there were lots of things to do and we didn't need to drive too far to find them. We would stay again.

Easy to visit places we wanted to see . The cottage was clean . Everything we needed was there . Nice welcome pack . Nice enclosed garden for the dogs . Only negatives . The shower very intermittent . Hot water in the kitchen tap very slow . ( think there might be a pressure problem ) Smell in the twin bedroom ( stale urine ? ) not pleasant . I always take an air freshener with me because we have 2 dogs so kept using that to try to mask it . Bedroom carpets look grubby . They are plain cream so unforgiving colour to have when dogs visiting , We enjoyed our stay , the area and the people are lovely . Visited the museum opposite which is open on Sundays . Very interesting . The bluebell in is good for food , lovely staff and the dogs were very welcome . Lots of history .

Good quality furnishings and fittings. We felt very comfortable and at home. It provided a good base for a lovely holiday. Good places to eat not far away. The only minor quibble was the not so brilliant shower, but it would not put us off coming again. We appreciated the welcome treats. The place is well suited to having a dog but sadly we lost ours after booking. There is plenty to do in the area and not too far to the coast.
