The property's location is generally well-received, with guests enjoying the quiet village setting, proximity to a pub and deli, and nearby walks. However, one review mentioned the presence of barking dogs and a football practice area, which suggests the location may not be perfectly tranquil for all.
The comfort of the Coach House is frequently highlighted, with guests finding the beds comfy and the property spacious. The high standard of the renovation contributes to the overall comfort level.

Lifford Coach House is a light and airy barn conversion, which dates back to 1850 and is settled in the village of Sutton-On-Trent, Nottinghamshire. This pet-friendly dwelling has a contemporary, reverse-level interior with an open-plan living space and an enclosed garden, idyllic for families, friends and two dogs. On the ground-floor, there are two bedrooms with white walls, light grey hues and Smart TVs. There is a super-king-size bed, which is zip/link for flexible sleeping and offers and en-suite shower room and a double bedroom, serviced by a family bathroom. Venture upstairs to the first floor living space; here you can unwind on the plush sofas with the Smart TV for entertainment, dine together at the table and prepare heart-warming meals in the charcoal fitted kitchen. The open-plan space has Velux windows to admire the night sky or if the evening is warm, head outside to the rear garden, where you can savour a glass of wine on the rattan furniture. The quaint village of Sutton-On-Trent is home to The Lord Nelson Inn for when you fancy some pub grub, a Co-Op to stock up on the essentials and the River Trent to enjoy a scenic stroll. Visit the market town of Newark-on-Trent, peppered with antique stores, cafes, restaurants, and castle to immerse yourself in the past. Also with easy reach is the city of Lincoln, hosting a gothic cathedral, Sherwood Forest to learn about the legend of Robin Hood and the Grade I listed Belton House. For all this and more, escape to Lifford Coach House.
Sutton-on-Trent is a significant Nottinghamshire village between Sheffield and Lincoln. The village's 2000 acres and River Trent are well-known. The Lord Nelson is the village's only bar. It's an independent, family-owned pub with superb cuisine, beer, and live music. A September celebration features historic vehicles, morris dancing, and music by local bands and artists. Lincoln is a picturesque drive from the village and offers several attractions, including the 11th-century Lincoln Castle, Lincoln Medieval Bishops' Palace, and the Museum of Lincolnshire Life. In Sheffield, you may shop at The Moor Market and dine at Bunk, Frog, Parrot, and Gatsby. Sutton-on-Trent is well-positioned to explore Nottinghamshire.
