Guests consistently praise The Granary for its tranquil setting, comfortable accommodations, and welcoming host, Alice. The property's well-equipped games room and the beautiful walks right on the doorstep are frequently mentioned highlights. The thoughtful touches, such as a welcome bag, add to the charm of this countryside retreat. While most experiences are positive, a few guests noted minor issues with dog-friendliness and provision of basic supplies.
There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide an accurate score.
The location is highly praised for its gorgeous countryside, nearby villages, and lovely walks, indicating a high level of satisfaction among guests.
Guests describe the cottage as cosy, comfortable, and tranquil, suggesting a high level of comfort during their stays.
The well-stocked games room and the array of crockery and cookware are appreciated, although one guest struggled with the hoover attachments. The facilities are generally well-regarded, but the minor issue prevents a perfect score.
The welcome bag with treats and wine is a thoughtful gesture that guests enjoyed, though it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed and may vary.

Not as dog friendly as I would have liked/expected as there are pebbles everywhere, sometimes without a path and hurts the dogs paws. Also the cottage didnât really come with the basics - e.g bin bags, kitchen roll, toilet bleach etc and we had to go out and purchase all of this ourselves so would recommend providing this for guests as we would have never thought to bring this with us. Overall would recommend.

We are originally from the area, so were staying to visit family and friends locally. The accommodation was wonderful, with everything we required for a comfortable stay. The grounds were stunning, and there were plenty of options for walking our little dog right from the doorstep. Alice, the owner, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The games room was a great feature, and we enjoyed playing pool and table tennis during our stay. We were a little early for the pool to be open - but hopefully next time! We will definitely be back when we are next visiting Suffolk. All in all a fabulous location, great cottage and host, excellent facilities and would highly recommend.
