Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviews consistently mention the immaculate condition of The Stables, highlighting its spotlessness and well-kept gardens. The high standard of cleanliness contributes significantly to guests' comfort and satisfaction.

The property's location is generally seen as convenient for exploring the surrounding areas, with easy access to local attractions. However, some guests noted the proximity to a busy road and suggested that this could be made clearer in the property's description.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is frequently commended, with guests appreciating the welcome packs, including cakes and dog treats. While these gestures are highly valued, it is noted that such extras, though common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The cathedral city of Hereford lies on the banks of the River Wye and dates back to Saxon times, with its medieval bridge that runs across the river providing the very image of picturesque England. With an eclectic mix of architecture, which can be traced back to almost every British era, Hereford is a popular base for those seeking to explore the locale. Ideally placed for accessing the Black and White villages of the region, not to mention the delights of neighbouring Shropshire, Worcestershire and the Cotswolds. Famous for its cider-production, Hereford is also the home of the Mappa Mundi, the largest and most elaborate pre-15th century map in existence, which resides in the cathedral alongside the famous Chained Library; a collection of over 1500 rare books from as early as the 8th century. Close by is the half-timbered town of Leominster, filled with medieval buildings, often overhanging the street, and also accessible is the natural splendour of Symonds Yat, a rocky outcrop on a 5-mile bend of the River Wye, with spectacular views and the opportunity to spot protected Peregrine falcons flying from their nests.

Everything you need ,lovely doggie biscuits and cupcakes for humans. Could do with full length mirror *which is being really pickie * as I can not find anything to fault the place with. Lovely local pub across the road

The property itself was spotless, very comfortable, we slept like babies!! The gardens were lovely, so we'll kept and just what we wanted for our old dog to wander round safely. The cupcakes and doggy treats were a welcome sight when we arrived, both finished off very quickly. The owners were extremely friendly and all there hard work to turn the property into a 5* site has really paid off. Just a thought for added extras, a few more coat hangers in the wardrobe and a fan for hot weather as it did get very warm in the property.

Some fantastic places to visit. Only small thing we would recommend is a mirror in the bathroom and maybe a long one in the bedroom.
