Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, ample seating areas, and comfortable beds. The property's cleanliness is generally good, though minor issues were noted. The outdoor space and maintenance received mixed reviews, with some concerns about garden upkeep and building works. Thoughtfulness in provision of welcome treats was mentioned, though not consistently.
Most guests found the property to be spotlessly clean, with only a few isolated comments about specific areas needing attention, such as the microwave and a rug. The overall high standard of cleanliness contributes positively to the guest experience.
The cottage's location is highly praised for being peaceful yet only a five-minute walk from local facilities in Keswick. Its proximity to the town centre and various walks adds to the appeal for guests.
Guests consistently report a very comfortable stay, highlighting the spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and ample bathrooms. The large seating areas and well-equipped kitchen contribute to the overall comfort.
The property is well-stocked with kitchenware and offers private parking. However, some guests noted the absence of a downstairs toilet and minor maintenance issues like door locks. The presence of building works was a drawback for some.
