Guests say

Pippin Cottage in Keswick is highly praised for its cleanliness, tasteful decoration, and prime location opposite Fitz Park. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and the property's suitability for dogs. While most feedback is positive, a few guests mentioned discomfort with the lounge furniture and concerns about patio upkeep.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviews consistently mention that the cottage is very clean, with only one minor comment about an untidy patio area. The high standard of cleanliness is a recurring theme.

The location is frequently highlighted as ideal, being opposite a park and within walking distance to the town centre and lake. It's particularly noted as excellent for dog owners.

While many guests find the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy, there are a few remarks about the lounge furniture being uncomfortable, which slightly lowers the score.

The cottage is praised for its well-equipped kitchen and stunning bathroom. However, the lack of a washer/dryer and an inaccessible bike shed are noted drawbacks.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the host, so it is not possible to assess this category.

Large, private secure garden ideal for our two dogs. Parking space for the car next to the garden entrance....perfect. Standard of fitting and decor of the highest. Owner very kind and helpful. Not the cheapest but great value. You won't regret booking here.

Decorated beautifully, amazingly comfortable beds and good facilities, we will be booking again! It would be amazing if there was a washer / dryer though, particularly when walking lots!

The cottage is the perfect location for everything especially the park across the road for our cockerpoo Molly. My only criticism was the bike shed as last year we realised we could bring our bikes only for it to be full of stuff when we got there so we were unable to use it ,apart from that it was perfect.
