Internally, the cottage has been lovingly restored by its owners and has many original features. It is presented in a traditional style with a well-appointed and equipped kitchen/diner, featuring all the mod cons needed for a week away.
The cosy and welcoming sitting room invites you to relax, with a gas fire and TV for spending down time in the evening.
Head out the back door to access the enclosed paved courtyard, with mature shrubs and dining set for when you fancy breakfast outside.

The town offers a wide variety of stores and eateries to suit every taste, as well as miniature golf, wonderful parks, the renowned Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing, and fantastic mountain biking opportunities. Derwentwater, a beautiful lake at the head of the breathtaking Borrowdale Valley, is only a short stroll from the town centre. The stunning Newlands Valley is nearby, situated between Braithwaite and Buttermere, and the charming Bassenthwaite Lake is definitely worth a visit. Everything from a leisurely stroll through the countryside to a strenuous walk up Skiddaw or the renowned Catbells is available. Lovely cottage that we first stayed in 1997 !! It had everything we needed , clean , warm and comfortable . Parking was a great bonus even though we have a 4x4 which used our parking skills . Fantastic location just 5 minutes walk from Keswick town .
