Nicely quirky, comfortable, nice and spacious and with all we needed in amenties. Great location with loads of walks from the door and great views all round with a cuppa outside. Owners made you feel welcome with some milk and biscuits and bird feeders were all filled when we arrived. We recommend the Langstrath Country Inn for ale and great food and the Flock Inn tearoom for a great cuppa.

The location is amazing with plenty of walks from the door and pubs. The cottage has everything and whilst it's not modernised at all it has everything you need. We really enjoyed the stay here but the property might not be everyone's taste.

I recommend that potential customers disregard the previous negative review. The cottage is surprisingly spacious, cosy, and with it dating back to the 1600s it is a unique place to stay. The kitchen large and sufficient for cooking for large groups. We really appreciated the owner setting-up both fires for us before our arrival. There are lots of lovely walks nearby and Keswick is a short drive away. Highly recommend!
