Bramble Bank Lodge is a traditional style lodge located in the Ambleside area of the beautiful White Cross Bay. The lodge is situated just a small walk from the lake and marina and is positioned at the end of a cul-de-sac which backs onto a woodland area. Benefiting from a secluded hot tub and delightful outside seating area, this lodge is a favourite with many of its guests returning year after year. Step into this pine lodge and enjoy the homely feel of this open plan living/kitchen/dining area where you can play games or all enjoy a spot of cooking. Bramble Bank Lodge sleeps four guests in two bedrooms plus an infant in a travel cot. Enjoy a relaxing getaway in this charming hideaway retreat after a long walk on the fells with your furry friends. In a glorious setting by the lake, White Cross Bay sits on the shores of Lake Windermere with views all around to the spectacular fells. Bramble Bank lodge is a short walk from the waterside where you can head down to the jetties, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the views and watch the boats on the marina. On the Park itself, there is a bar and restaurant with outdoor seating area for dogs, picnic area and children’ play zone. Note: Some facilities on the park are subject to extra cost such as use of the pool, entertainment, bar and restaurant. You’re also just two miles from bustling Windermere village with shops, cafes and pubs, and three miles from Bowness boat landings, where the elegant cruisers come in and you can hop on a boat trip. Three miles in the other direction, head to Ambleside, another bustling town with shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants and of course, fabulous walks in every direction. A wonderful base to make your Lake District adventures.
The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip.
