Inside you'll find trendy furnishings throughout, alongside original features with tall ceilings and exposed wooden beams; follow the hallway through to the open-plan living space, sure to be the social hub of your holiday!
Rustle up home-cooked meals in the well-equipped kitchen, whilst your guests uncork a bottle of wine and toast to your retreat. Dine at the eye-catching, black and white dining table, before settling into the sitting area to catch up with your loved ones or watch a show on the TV.
After outdoor adventures, step inside the contemporary, ground-floor bathroom to wash the day away with a relaxing bubble bath or a hot shower. The handy utility cupboard is just next door to throw muddy walking gear into the washer/dryer!

Historians can visit the ruins of a 2nd-century Roman fort and National Trust's Wray Castle, or pack a picnic and take a stroll through magical woodlands to marvel at Stock Ghyll Force, a popular attraction not to be missed.
Take a short drive to Windermere, a bustling town for climbing up Orrest Head for panoramic views, strolling around Cook House Gallery or visiting beloved characters at The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds very comfortable. The toilet needs looking at, as you have to really pump it to get it to flush.

The property could do with updating as is a little old fashioned, lots of stains on carpets upstairs, cobwebs and toilet is really difficult to flush. No welcome pack provided explaining how to use appliances just sticky notes dotted around the property.
