As the sky darkens, retire inside and venture to the first floor, where you will find a king-size with a freestanding bath, basin and heated towel rail, another king-size and a delightful twin bedroom. In the morning, awaken tired eyes with a short stroll to the shores of Lake Windermere to admire the natural scenery and afterwards you can enjoy pub fare at Cuckoo Brow Inn. Visit the charming village of Hawkshead for a greater selection of restaurants and cafes to treat your loved ones or browse quaint gift stores to purchase a souvenir. Explore the nearby attractions, including the National Trust house, Hill Top, to tour Beatrix Potters' charming home, admire lakeside views from Claife Viewing Station and Windermere West Shore as you savour a coffee or immerse yourself in the past at Stott Park Bobbin Mill.
