The lodge received high marks for cleanliness, with guests noting it was 'very clean' and 'well kept'. The attention to detail in maintaining a tidy environment contributed positively to the guests' experiences.

The location was generally well-received for its peacefulness and proximity to the lake and local pubs. However, some guests mentioned the need to drive to access walking areas, which slightly impacted the convenience of the location.

Very dog friendly and the pub that was a few miles along the road was wonderful, there is also a little family hut you can buy things from, we still have the jam we purchased, will definitely come back

But if you want to walk anywhere you will need to go in your car to get there as you have to walk along the road quite scary especially if you have a crazy Spaniel. Although you can cross the road and walk to the lake which was nice.
