Guests say

Guests consistently praise Bill's Barn for its immaculate condition, comfortable furnishings, and stunning rural views. The property's peacefulness and proximity to local attractions in the Lake District are appreciated, as is the high-quality bedding and well-equipped kitchen. The presence of a local pub with excellent food adds to the charm. Some guests suggest minor improvements, but the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many looking forward to returning.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviewers unanimously commend the property for its spotless and well-maintained state, often highlighting the 'new house smell' and the pristine condition upon arrival.

The property is celebrated for its beautiful rural setting and convenient access to the Lake District, though some guests note the narrow access roads. Its proximity to local attractions and a pub with fantastic food is a plus.

The comfort of the beds and the overall warmth and cosiness of the property are frequently mentioned. The property's suitability for families, including the option for a cot and high-chair, contributes to its high comfort rating.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a fully equipped kitchen and modern bathroom. However, some guests mention a desire for additional amenities such as BBQ facilities and larger cooking pans, as well as a note on limited hot water supply during a heatwave.

The provision of a welcome pack, a thorough home guide, and the option for family-friendly amenities like a cot and high-chair demonstrate the hosts' thoughtfulness. While gifts are not guaranteed, the attention to guest needs is evident.

Absolutely spotlessly clean quality beds modern and a relaxing view out of the front windows of rolling countryside. So relaxing and had a restful stay will be booking again very soon. We asked to transfer to this property as the Cottage we originally booked was dirty and stunk of damp. so pleased we did.

Everything you could possibly desire is provided and the whole property is spotlessly clean - even the bed linen is top quality. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back.

    K. with a small car but a larger one would have difficulty getting into the parking space. It would be helpful to know this when booking.
