Guests say

Brantfell Lodge is highly praised for its prime location, cleanliness, and comfort. Guests appreciate the property's proximity to Bowness, the secure garden, and the well-equipped kitchen. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is very positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Guests consistently report that the property is very clean upon arrival, contributing to a welcoming and comfortable stay.

The location is repeatedly highlighted as excellent, with easy access to local amenities and attractions in Bowness, as well as Lake Windermere.

The property is generally found to be comfortable and cosy, with good-sized bedrooms and comfortable beds, although one review mentions a mattress needing replacement.

Facilities are well-regarded, with a well-stocked kitchen and secure garden. Some maintenance issues like a noisy heating system and a non-functional dishwasher are mentioned, but these seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.

While guests are pleased with the property, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would fall under the category of thoughtfulness, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Great location and well situated for all amenities, only slightly let down was the comfort of the beds……understandably times are hard, however those mattresses and pillows need replacing to make perfect

The cottage is very close to the shops, bars and restaurants of Bowness. A great base to explore the area. The cottage was clean and comfortable. A large enclosed garden (once gates closed) for dog to safely enjoy. Would have been nice for us all to eat outside. Would recommend investing in a large Smart TV for evenings in.

Well if you can impress my dad who is usually like Victor Meldrew then you've definitely done well , ow and he now wants a bungalow! The only negative thing that I can say is that when you came out of the drive there was a blind corner, however this is really down to the highways and not the owner.
