Not so good points, Heating boiler in top bedroom seem to come on various times during the night although not cold, steep tight curved drive so very challenging to get a large car discovery up past overgrown conifers on left of bank .

Great location and well situated for all amenities, only slightly let down was the comfort of the bedsâ¦â¦understandably times are hard, however those mattresses and pillows need replacing to make perfect

The cottage is very close to the shops, bars and restaurants of Bowness. A great base to explore the area. The cottage was clean and comfortable. A large enclosed garden (once gates closed) for dog to safely enjoy. Would have been nice for us all to eat outside. Would recommend investing in a large Smart TV for evenings in.
