Originally built in 1890 Lays Barn offers three comfortable bedrooms as well as a well-equipped kitchen and the a living area which overlooks the properties beautiful private garden. From the property you will easily spot the local wildlife, including deer, hares, and birds of prey.

The owner was waiting for us when we arrived at the property and showed us the main features of the barn, which was both friendly and very useful. The open-plan full-height living room makes the barn feel airy and spacious (and also cosy with the gas stove lit) and it is located is a wonderful rural part of Norfolk. There are numerous walks close by and plenty of local attractions to explore. We enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful weekend at the barn and we hope to return at some time in the future.

The cottage was excellent, very comfortable and peaceful making for a relaxing holiday. Getting a signal for our phones was an issue at times. I will use the cottage again next year on my visit to Norfolk.
