Guests say

Flint Cottage is highly praised for its cosy charm, cleanliness, and convenient location close to Swaffham town centre. Guests appreciate the well-equipped space and the thoughtful touches from the owner. The garden is a delightful spot for relaxation, though the steep stairs are noted as a consideration for those with mobility issues.

The majority of guests report the cottage as extremely clean and tidy, with only a few isolated comments about minor cleanliness issues. The positive remarks far outweigh the negatives, indicating high standards of cleanliness.

The location is frequently described as great, with easy access to local amenities and the Norfolk coastline. Some guests mention road noise, but it's generally considered quiet at night, suggesting a good but not perfect location score.

Guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bedding. However, several guests mention the steep and narrow stairs as a potential discomfort, especially for those with mobility issues.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the cottage being well-equipped for a comfortable stay. Some guests noted issues with heating instructions, Wi-Fi signal, and a lack of certain kitchen items, suggesting room for improvement in maintenance and facilities.

Many guests mention thoughtful gestures such as welcome packs and festive decorations, contributing to a positive experience. However, as these gifts are subject to change and not guaranteed, they are a delightful bonus rather than a standard provision.

The cottage had everything needed for our short break away.

Okay the stairs are steep to the bedroom, but hey, it’s an old cottage and that’s how they were. The cleanliness was first class, and the bathroom was big and spacious, also the bedroom was a good size as well. Wi-Fi was great with no issues. Only thing I would change, and this is being picky- I would prefer a washing machine than a dishwasher, especially if staying for two weeks. Do try the Saturday market in town 2 minutes walk away, the dog friendly Red Lion pub also 2 minute walk away serves beautiful food. Rosemary the owner (a very nice lady) stopped by to make sure everything was okay. All in all I would definitely recommend Flint Cottage for a stay in Norfolk.

Cottage is an old building beautifully converted which adds to it's charm but steep stairs could be a problem for someone with mobility issues. As mentioned in previous review advertised as 10am check out but later request was 9.30 am which we found a little early. Great cottage though and perfect for visiting the area.
