Nestled right in the heart of the picturesque village of Flitcham, and accessed by a beautiful landscape of country roads deep in the heart of the Royal Estates you will find The Old Chapel standing proud waiting for you to retreat to. Despite dating back to 1885, The Old Chapel has been lovingly restored and is decadently and considerately decorated throughout. As you enter the gravel driveway which can accommodate two cars to the rear of the property you are greeted by a landscaped garden. A large purpose-built barbecue area just waiting to be enjoyed at your dining leisure. Contemporary stable doors open up onto a kitchen fit to provide and seat a feast with a traditional long church table and benches where many a meal can be consumed with pleasure. A small downstairs toilet for convenience is tucked under the stairs. A delightful games room excitingly invites you in for all gaming pleasure. Lift the latch on the wooden door to enter a vastly seated lounge which welcomes you in to try a spot of local gin. A large open fire just waiting to be lit… Pull the blinds, nestle down to the crackling pop of the wood fire, turn on the speakers, take a sip, and stretch out fully on the main coach to take in your choice of viewing or listening pleasure with complete surround sounds. The upstairs of the house boasts a beautiful deep free-standing bath designed for stargazing fun. The small shower is perfect for a rinse off after an enjoying day at one of the many sandy beaches and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and wildlife that nestled this gem of a hideaway. The bedrooms consist of a large master with a king-size bed, a further two double rooms, one consisting of another king-sized bed, the other two singles. Every room encompasses its own unique character complete with Tempur mattresses and cushions. Plenty of storage throughout allows for a comfortable relaxed stay. The master bedroom boasts a large walk-in wardrobe area and has character features such as a chaise lounge and its own private shower to be uniquely viewed from the comfort of its sleigh bed. Bring the house to life… Make the house sing with your own music which can be linked via airdrop to the many Bluetooth speakers that are situated from room to room. The games room is a treasure chest of gaming and viewing pleasure with its own speaker system, gaming chair, PS4, sky box, and a library of DVDs to keep you entertained, as well as good old fashioned board games to be enjoyed if desired by the open fire. The TV and speakers in the lounge allow for a truly cinematic experience for the times when you desire to cosy down; a vast array of applications and channels allow you to experience the wonderments of a fully kitted out back lit TV. The house is so accommodating you will never want to leave, but you will always be welcomed back. Open the door and explore... The property rests within reach of a fantastic collection of rural and coastal pubs, which sell both traditional pub food and regional delights such as the area’s famous cheeses, craft beers, local fins, wines and local seafood; yum! Flitcham and the nearby villages such as Anmer and Sandringham are part of The Royal Family's Estate, which adds such a rich tapestry of nature to explore at its finest. As reported in the press, there is a clear giveaway when looking for cottages in Flitcham owned by His Majesty King Charles; 'anything with a light blue door is owned by the king', a colour chosen by the queen mother and seen in many villages nearby. Be sure to sneak a peek at these picture-perfect cottages while in the area, where you may also spot some royally-inspired names, such as Diamond Jubilee, Victoria, or even as obvious as 'Queen's Cottage'! A trip won't be complete without an afternoon exploring the rich and historic Sandringham House, bought by Queen Victoria in 1862 and now a marvellous attraction for the public, boasting the ultra-luxury, unbeatable manicured gardens and grounds, and a historic and educational day out for the family; keep your eyes peeled for King Edward VII's coat of arms, which hangs above the door. The glorious sandy beaches are all within a close drive. Snettisham and Heacham are said to have the most strikingly outstanding sunsets in the whole of the United Kingdom.
