Guests say

Guests have had delightful stays at Suzanne's Beach Hut, praising its spaciousness, comfort, and proximity to the beach. The quiet location is perfect for restful sleep and the property is well-equipped, including a games room. It's particularly favoured by dog owners due to the nearby dog-friendly beach and secure garden.

The property is generally well-maintained, though there were isolated mentions of a sandy shower and leftover food in the fridge. These seem to be exceptions rather than the rule, indicating high standards of cleanliness overall.

The location is highly praised for its peace, proximity to the beach, and the convenience of nearby shops and takeaways. It's an ideal spot for both relaxation and exploration of North Norfolk.

Guests find the accommodation comfortable, with special mentions of the comfortable beds and the overall cosy atmosphere of the chalet. The only minor discomfort noted was a sofa that retained pet odours.

Facilities are generally appreciated, including a dishwasher and a games room. However, comments about overgrown grass and thorny bushes suggest some outdoor maintenance issues. The TV remote was also reported to be slow.

While guests seem content with the amenities provided, there is no specific mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

The name Walcott is derived from the Celtic word Walecote, which means "village by the wood". It is an ideal place for walking, cycling, horse riding, fishing, bird watching or simply relaxing and enjoying the many views. Walcott is also a great location for exploring the beautiful scenery of the Norfolk coast, as well as the famous Norfolk Broads. Beach is super close and accessed through back of chalet park no more than 5 mins away. Chalets are quite close together but not a problem everyone is super friendly. Really comfortable stay and Suzanne has done a great job with decor and beds etc only small (and I do mean super small) observation is that the cream sofa smells a lot of dog which transferred to clothes so used a throw to cover it up. Fridge/freezer still had food from previous people and the shower was sandy however these we quickly fixed. Couple of hints for next guests is when you get to the chalet park turn right into the estate the numbers are not in order and Suzanne’s beach hut numbers are rubbed away. Also, be very careful on steps outside they are not very wide and are made of decking but are fine to use. Overall thank you so much Suzanne great base for a fabulous holiday!
