The en suite bathrooms in every room and well-equipped kitchen are frequently mentioned, as is the property's central location for exploring Northumberland. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches like welcome gifts, although these are not guaranteed. Some mention minor issues with heating and pub noise, but these do not detract from the overall positive experience.

The property's location is celebrated for its beautiful views and convenience as a base for exploring the surrounding countryside and attractions, though a car is necessary for travel to nearby towns.
The comfort of Vale View is frequently highlighted, with guests noting the cosy lounge, spacious rooms, and the luxury of en suite bathrooms. However, some guests mentioned that certain bedrooms could be cold.
The facilities, including a well-stocked kitchen and hot tub, are generally well-received. However, some guests experienced issues with heating and patchy Wi-Fi coverage, leading to a slightly lower score.
Many reviews mention the thoughtful welcome gifts, such as wine and biscuits, which contribute to the property's welcoming atmosphere. It is noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and not guaranteed.

Mr Robinson
We had a fabulous stay. Recommended to family and friends. The kitchen was very well equipped and the finishing touches like dish washer tablets and washing up liquid was much appreciated. As was the wine. Thank you very much
Mr Roddham
Apart from some noise being heard in some of bedrooms at night the cottage was a good size and very well equipped for our family of 10. We enjoyed our weekend
