With breath-taking views and situated in the popular new Coble Quay on Amble Harbour, Swansdown at Amble is an unmissable place to stay. Looking over the Amble marina and out to the North Sea, over Warkworth beach dunes and up the Coquet Estuary to Warkworth Castle – it’s a hard one to beat!
Swansdown is a pet-friendly apartment with breaktaking views of the Northumbrian coastline. It ticks every box and even has it’s very on beach hut just off the Little Shore, with full power and tea and coffee making facilities, for those who wish to ‘set up camp’ a few minutes down the road to the beach. The apartment is right next to the coastal cycle path (which is very family-friendly) which runs all the way to pretty Alnmouth to the North and down to Cresswell and Druridge Bay to the south. Spacious for 4 guests but uber-luxurious for just a couple, Swansdown has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and welcomes a small dog too. Swansdown has been awarded 5 stars and a prestigious gold award by Visit England.
There are 4 free passes provided (2 adults and 4 children) to guests for the nearby Amble Links Health and Leisure Club, which is within walking distance and has a 20m indoor heated pool, sauna and fitness suite (see further details below).
Swansdown is located on the first floor, benefiting from the panoramic views, but it is also suitable for guests who have limited mobility. The whole apartment is on one level with lift access to the front door too.
