Waters Edge Beadnell is a well-loved property, praised for its beautiful design, cosy atmosphere, and stunning sea views. Guests appreciate its spaciousness, ideal for large groups or families, and its proximity to the beach and local amenities. While there are some reports of maintenance issues, the positive experiences and thoughtful touches, such as a welcome hamper, contribute to its charm.
Most guests found the property clean and comfortable, though there were isolated complaints about insects, mould, and a musty smell. These seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.
The location is highly praised for its outstanding sea views, proximity to the beach, local shops, and pubs. It's also noted as a great starting point for walks and exploring nearby attractions.
The property is frequently described as warm, cosy, and well-equipped, providing a comfortable stay for guests. However, a few guests mentioned issues with heating and showers.
While the property is generally well-equipped and furnished, there are several reports of maintenance issues such as non-working appliances and the need for better shower facilities.
Guests often mention thoughtful touches like a welcome hamper, which add to the enjoyment of their stay. However, it should be noted that such gifts are a delightful surprise and not guaranteed.

This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, two pubs and a café serving food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket and restaurants, and it also offers boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.

Beautiful decor. Any issues were swiftly resolved and we had a very enjoyable stay. Great venue for a family celebrating my mum's 79th birthday.

The time spent on the viewing deck to the sea was always fantastic (seeing dolphins was a highlight!). The house was perfect in both location and the facilities provided, so good weâve booked for next year already! Weâve been visiting the area for number of years and stayed in various houses and we all agreed that Waters Edge was the favourite!!
