Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with numerous guests noting it was spotless upon arrival. One review mentioned the kitchen could be cleaner, but this seems an isolated comment in an otherwise exemplary record.

The location is highly regarded for its beauty, proximity to local amenities, and accessibility to nearby attractions. The peaceful setting and scenic views are appreciated, although one review noted the road's narrowness as a minor concern.

Comfort is a standout feature, with guests frequently mentioning the cosy atmosphere, comfortable beds, and the warmth of the cottage. The presence of a roaring fire and the overall homeliness contribute to the high comfort level.

Facilities are generally praised, especially the well-equipped kitchen and the utility room perfect for dogs. The mention of a tumble dryer not listed was seen as a positive surprise. However, one review suggested a preference for a walk-in shower, indicating room for improvement.

The thoughtfulness of the hosts is frequently commended, with special mentions of welcome packs including homemade cake and wine. While these gifts are warmly received, it's important to note that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed with every stay.

Absolutely everything we could have wished for and more. The garden and bridge/woods was an added and unexpected bonus.

The garden is quirky - we loved it.. It was great to meet the owner, Lesley. We very much hope to have a return visit. Reduced rating for facilities as we would prefer a walk-in shower but we knew this wasn’t available when we booked.
