Visit nearby Housesteads Roman Fort (2.3 miles) and spend a day at The Sill National Landscape Discovery Centre less than 2 miles from here for a fascinating history of the area. Head to Haltwhistle for shops, pubs and restaurants (5.9 miles). Drive to historic Hexham for the magnificent Abbey, Sele Park and Racecourse just thirteen miles away, and the quaint Roman village of Corbridge is under seventeen miles.This spacious, well-equipped cottage has been furnished with comfort and relaxation in mind, creating a calm and welcoming experience. Enter the cottage into the open-plan kitchen/diner with high ceilings and exposed beams adding to the sense of light and space. The island creates a useful divide between the kitchen and the sociable dining area, with a large dining table and Smart TV. There is plenty of comfortable seating where you can unwind after your day walking and exploring the area.
