Very well equipped ideal location for exploring Kielder forest and Northumberland. The only downside was the heating, it was on a timer the book said you could adjust this on the boiler however the cupboard which housed the boiler was locked. I understand this is probably so guests donât forget to turn it off when they go out for the day but it would have been nice when we got back in afternoon to be able to put it on ourselves rather than having to wait until 5pm for it to come on. The under floor heating in the conservatory wasnât great we couldnât get the room to warm up so just didnât use it. This wouldnât stop me staying again and I would recommend to others just maybe something for the owners to consider.

We found a mop handle but no mop head. A full mop would be useful especially when guests have a dog with them. Again the grass was a bit neglected gardeners arrived 2 days before we checked out.
