This delightful, warm and cosy cottage dates back to 1745, and is situated just behind the main street in the village of Lowick. Tastefully furnished and equipped to a very high standard, Dingley Dell provides an excellent base for couples or up to two people from which to discover the secrets of North Northumberland.
Dingley Dell, a cottage built in traditional stone dating back to 1745 has been beautifully and sympathetically refurbished to off accommodation all on the ground floor. The lounge dining area is bathed in sunshine form the large patio door and the velux windows a lovely space to enjoy relaxing after a busy days sightseeing. The patio door from the lounge opens out onto a lovely partly covered private patio area a great space for a glass of wine in the evening. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need to prepare a lovely home cooked meal with local produce.
Lowick is a village in Northumberland and is approx 10 miles south of Berwick-upon-Tweed. The Anglican St John the Baptist's Parish Church dates from 1794, but a chapel was built in the 12th century by monks of Lindisfarne is only a 15min drive away. The white sand beaches along this coastline are really beautiful great for a walk at any time of year. Further down the coast you will find Bamburgh with its castle looking out to sea and the rnli Grace Darling museum.
