Only negative - trying to find the lodge in the first place. The 'park' is on unconnected 2 sites at the moment and we weren't told which one our accommodation was on. We picked the wrong one but even the person in reception didn't know where it was. We eventually found it on the second site. If we had been advised to go through the gates with the stag sculptures either side, we would have found it straight away.

There was also a bad smell of drains from the bathroom and around the site. We found the lack of anywhere to walk very restricting and with the difficulties of crossing the A1 we would not want to return to the site.

Inside the property has everything you would need & is very cosy & homely & the hot tub is a great asset overlooking the fields behind. We & our 2 dogs thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would love to return. My only suggestion would be having a vacuum cleaner given that it is dog friendly
