Guests say

Cosy Cottage is praised for its excellent location in Seahouses, with easy access to local amenities and a sunny garden. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness and the welcome pack provided. While the cottage offers a comfortable stay, some guests have noted issues with hot water, the shower, and general maintenance. The garden and some facilities may require attention, but the property remains a popular choice for its charm and potential for a delightful holiday.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property is generally described as clean, with several reviews affirming its tidiness. However, a few guests mentioned that more attention could be given to cleaning and tidying up the garden.

The cottage's location is consistently highlighted as excellent, being close to pubs, shops, restaurants, and the Northumberland coast, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with a special mention of the comfy bed. However, some concerns were raised about the hot water system and the need for a new mattress, which affects the overall comfort level.

The property is well-equipped, but several reviews point out issues with hot water, the shower, and the need for basic maintenance. The lack of cleaning products and adequate cookware was also noted.

The welcome pack with tea and biscuits was well-received, indicating thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not consistently mentioned across reviews, they should not be expected as guaranteed.

This cottage is in a brilliant location. It was great with young children as there weren’t loads of precious things at child height to worry about! It was comfortable and clean and a good base. I think for the comparative price it’s a good way to have an affordable comfortable holiday but if you’re looking for luxury/high end this wouldn’t be the right property for you. The garden is quite overgrown and not that appealing to sit in at the mo so if this is important to you again it may not be the right choice for you but we had a lovely holiday and enjoyed our time away! Thank you!

The location of the cottage is great but unfortunately is badly in need of some TLC inside. The shower seal leaks and the settee could do with replacing. The garden desperately needs an overhaul.

Perfect location , just needs some time spending on making it better. Would not recommend at moment but has potential
