About this property

This beautifully presented and welcoming holiday home is located in the corner of a quiet cul-de-sac, just a short 0.3-mile walk from the coast and all the village shops, bars, cafes, and restaurants. Wander around the bustling harbour to see the fishing boats and book a boat trip to the Farne Islands to see a wide array of seabirds, grey seal colonies, and puffins in the season. Walk or cycle the coast path past Seahouses Golf Club to the beautiful beach at Beadnell (2 miles) with views of Dunstanburgh Castle in the distance. Enjoy water sports, rock pooling, and picnics in the dunes. Visit the unmissable Bamburgh Castle (3.5 miles) and its huge beach and explore the village amenities. Families will also love Alnwick Castle and Gardens (15 miles) and Holy Island (20 miles).

Enter the house into the hallway with coat hooks and a boot rack for your outdoor gear, and head into the light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. There are windows to the south-facing front and French doors leading to the rear, enclosed garden. The lounge is tastefully furnished with plenty of comfortable seating to relax and unwind together after days out and about. There is a Smart TV for a family movie night and the glow from the modern flame-effect electric fire adds to the cosy ambience. The large dining table allows everyone to sit together at mealtimes and is positioned close to the French doors so you can enjoy inside/outside living in the warmer months. The fully equipped kitchen overlooks the garden and has everything a family will need to create tasty meals and drinks. There are a couple of bar stools for sitting at the breakfast bar. A door leads from the kitchen to the utility room with access to the ground-floor WC and a door out to the garden. Head upstairs to find the four bedrooms, each with plenty of storage space. There is a king-size bedroom with sea views, a TV, and an en-suite shower room, a double bedroom with a TV, and two lovely single bedrooms. The family bathroom completes the first floor.

Outside, there is bench seating at the front of the house, which is south facing, where you can sit with your morning coffee. At the rear, there is an enclosed garden with a lawn and two patio areas each with garden furniture, one on ground level next to the French doors and the other slightly raised and accessible via two small steps to take advantage of the afternoon sunshine. Guests have access to the garage for storing bikes securely.
