Sandbach 2.4 miles. Set in the conurbation of a Grade II listed Manor farmhouse in the rural location of Moston Green, yet only 2 miles from the historic town of Sandbach, is this charming three-bedroom property, High Trees. Boasting a lovely, enclosed garden, off-road parking and pet-friendly accommodation, High Trees welcomes six guests, ideal for a family getaway to Cheshire. After unloading your personal belongings, enter your new abode ready to be impressed by a well-equipped kitchen, hosting all the necessary appliances to make your self-catered stay a success; settle down at the dining table as a family, ready to relish a lovely meal as the wine is poured and conversation flows. If the weather permits, why not step out into the enclosed garden and delight in a late-night tipple as your pooch plays safely? When the sky grows dark, retreat to the sitting room and kick back in front of the Smart TV, ready to be immersed by your favourite movie or show. Ascend the stairs to the first floor where a spacious family bathroom awaits, in addition to a double bedroom with en-suite wet room, a double and a twin, so you can catch your sleep ahead of another day of adventures. Begin your morning by taking a stroll through Sandbach, where you'll find a range of shops, restaurants, and pubs like Raffaeles, Filotimo, and The Old Hall Pub, perfect for stocking up on necessities or treating your loved ones to substantial meal. Or even closer is The Bear's Paw in Warmingham, the next village along. For history aficionados, head towards Nantwich to explore the Crewe War Memorial, Burma Star Island, Bluebell Woods, and Nantwich Museum. Spend the day in charming Chester, where you can shop your heart out before exploring the city walls, seeing the Eastgate Clock and Chester Cathedral, or renting a pedal boat to cruise the River Dee. If you prefer bustling city life, Manchester and Liverpool are within accessible reach by car and boast a wealth of pubs, clubs, bars, and restaurants where you can treat your loved ones to dinner and drinks or dance the night away. For a truly unforgettable holiday with family or friends in Cheshire, book a stay at High Trees.
The iconic Saxon Crosses may still be seen in the cobbled square of Sandbach, a sizable ancient market town in Cheshire that is off the M6. There are numerous unique stores in the town, as well as various pubs and eateries. The market square, located in the heart of Sandbach, hosts regular weekly markets, a monthly farmers' market, as well as a fantastic holiday market to keep everyone in good cheer. A beautiful spot to visit with intriguing wood carvings to admire is the Brereton Heath Nature Reserve. Visit St. Mary's Church, a Grade II listed structure with stunning stained-glass windows, for something a little different. The church yard is also a tranquil area to explore.

It was an ideal base for visiting family in the area and days out in the beautiful Cheshire countryside. The owners were very helpful and provided valuable information. Look forward to returning.

No dishwasher so make sure youâre equipped with tea towels, foil, clingfilm etc if you plan to eat in. Mattresses could do with a refresh and no overhead shower in main bathroom (just on a cradle with the taps) so be prepared for a queue for the wet room if itâs a party of 6 (as ours was). Some nice features too, great kitchen table to sit around and nice location.
