The location is celebrated for its tranquillity and beautiful views, with guests enjoying the surrounding countryside and proximity to local attractions. Some concerns about the approach path are noted, but the overall sentiment is very positive.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the hot tub being a standout feature. However, some guests mention the absence of a DVD player and the lack of a folder with instructions for appliances, leading to a slightly lower score.
The retreat's thoughtfulness is evident in the personal touches like homemade scones, pies, and bottles of fizz. While these gifts are warmly mentioned and add to the experience, it is important to note that such gestures, while appreciated, may not be guaranteed for every stay.

This shepherd’s hut is perfect for a couple seeking to explore Cumbria or simply get away from it all to enjoy a romantic retreat together. After situating your car within the allocated off-road parking space, a short walk up the endearing pathway will bring you to this elegantly-styled dwelling.
