The Courtyard created from the Hall’s carriage house, combines many original features with everyday comforts, with stone floors and underfloor heating throughout. Step indoors and be wowed by the open-plan living space, with exposed stonework, original beams and a woodburning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a large breakfast island, along with a dining table to gather around for relaxed evening meals. Alternatively, sink into the luxurious sofas and either soak up the silence or catch a film on the smart TV. Two beautifully appointed and spacious bedrooms are on offer, a king-size and a twin (zip/link), both complete with luxurious bed linens and plenty of storage, whilst a sleek and elegant bathroom invites you to indulge in a long soak or a refreshing shower. Outside you will have access to formal gardens and woodland surrounding the property. Relax in the total tranquillity of the gardens or take a woodland riverside walk, following the tumbling beck until it finally joins a curve of the River Lyne. Kirklinton Hall is also a wedding venue, but no weddings will take place when the cottages are booked for holiday breaks.

A delightful, well-stocked town in northern Cumbria that runs alongside the River Esk. Longtown is a fantastic base for a holiday as it comes in the centre of four Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, including Solway Coast aonb, the Northumberland National Park, North Pennines aonb and the Lake District National Park.The local area offers a pleasant range of shops, pubs and restaurants for you to choose from. There are some beautiful places nearby, offering even more places to go and things to do. Brampton and Carlisle are nearby with beautiful buildings. As Longtown is so close to Scotland, it would be rude not to visit Dumfries and Galloway. Edinburgh and Glasgow are just over an hours drive away.
