A sense of tranquillity sweeps through the open-plan living area with stone floors, wooden beams, and a wood burner adding to the rustic charm. After a day on the dales, unwind on the sofa with a drink or rustle up a meal in the kitchen. There’s also a separate snug room located off from the living area, handy for those who want some quiet reading time or to catch up on a favourite TV programme. But when it’s time to eat, gather everyone together for a sociable meal at the dining table. When the day draws to an end, head upstairs to the first floor and choose between three bedrooms. Featuring two doubles and a further single bedroom (on request) the bedrooms are simple and comfortable and boast window seats and woodland views. Outside, there’s a neat lawn and uninterrupted views of the peaceful surroundings. For further adventure jump on a steam train (seasonal) at Garsdale Railway and enjoy a scenic journey through the Cumbrian countryside.
