Guests say

Pippin Lodge is highly praised for its cleanliness, stylish and modern yet cosy interiors, and peaceful location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities and the wildlife around the property. While most experiences are positive, a few guests suggest minor improvements in maintenance and facilities.

The majority of guests report the lodge as spotless and immaculate upon arrival. However, one review mentions a need for more attention to detail in cleaning, slightly lowering the score.

The lodge is consistently described as being in a quiet, peaceful setting with a lovely village nearby. Its proximity to local attractions like a brewery and wildlife is also appreciated.

Guests find the lodge very comfortable and cosy, with a homely feel. There is a mention of the lodge having only one sofa when two were expected, but overall, the comfort level is rated highly.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the lodge being well-equipped. However, some guests noted issues with a flimsy airer, a lack of a secure area for dogs, and minor maintenance issues, which suggests room for improvement.

While the reviews reflect a positive experience, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

Issues arise with living in the lodge. Bathroom: Lovely shower. Toilet seat wobbly Bedroom: Nice comfy bed Kitchen: well equipped but broken bin Lounge: Lamp not working, could do to take out table in middle of room and put small ones at each side of sofa (as you need to get off to reach anything on table). Also a couple of throws for sofa. Heating:Central heating does not throw out a lot of heat. Outside: Steps are not particularly safe. Bin full on arrival, left bagged rubbish inside so not to entice the wild life to go through rubbish. NOW FOR THE BIG ONE NO WIFI.

Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The only negative for us was the lack of a secure fenced area for dogs to have a run off-lead. We had a very relaxing stay, thank you.

Such a peaceful area. The site is very tastefully laid out the lodges set amongst trees, all very natural and pretty. Accommodation was accurately described. Would return. The enclosed bbq area to the side was a nice surprise and meant we could have the door open without worrying about our dog. The other outside decking area at front/side is not enclosed. Appreciated the bird feeders outside kitchen window and watching all the feathered visitors!
