We loved the walk up to the monument, the views were amazing from up there. We had a lovely week visiting some beautiful places. Owners were lovely too.

The owners are on hand and really friendly/helpful. Really easy to get to and a good base to explore the Lake District. It was lovely to light the log fire after a day out walking. Local town has good facilities and places to eat. Plenty to do within local area. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing break
