The house is spectacular and there are additional facilities since our last stay. Overall excellent, but a couple of dissatisfiers to make you aware of: not enough cutlery or mugs in the kitchen (our apartment sleeps 6, but only 8 mugs), wi-fi was erratic and we struggled with it, noise from table football could be heard through our bedroom wall. Maybe put up a polite notice to guests that the indoor games should not be played after 9pm?

It is so quiet yet so close to everything you need and want to see. We highly recommend Stone Cross Mansion!

  • Jane

It is surprisingly private with its own entrance and sitting out area, that gets the sun after 1pm in June. It is quiet and peaceful. The accommodation is beautifully furnished with modern classic furniture and fittings. Really well done. For those of us with mobility problems it is OK. One step up to get in then level. The shower has a step up too and no grab handle. The maintenance and attention to detail is exemplary.
