Last year we stayed in Rowley. This year Alice. There are no negatives comments at all. The whole feeling about Stone Cross just feels right. We would highly recommend anyone visiting the area to pick Stone Cross. Thank you Mike for another great week Eric, Tracy & Seeley (the pooch)

The mansion is fabulous and the apartments are all fitted-out and maintained to a very high standard. Lovely grounds with plenty of equipment provided for the various activities. The owners are happy for you to continue to use the grounds even after check-out. We would highly recommend Stone Cross Mansion as a place to stay.

Well equipped apartment and the beds were very comfortable. The times we needed to contact the owner were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Ulverston is a lovely place to stay and a great base to explore the southern lakes from. Only downside was the rotten weather for the first half of the week! Would happily return.
