Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a spring.. This really is a cottage with a view! Barley Heights, approached by a rough track, is situated in a truly spectacular, peaceful location, and boasts uninterrupted, panoramic views of Pendle Hill and the Ribble Valley from both the living room and the small enclosed garden.

With walks from the doorstep and views from each side of the cottage, guests can explore during the daytime and relax in the evening whilst taking in the picturesque surroundings, fantastic sunsets, local birds and wildlife.
Located close to the small village of Hapton and just 3 miles from Burnley, giving easy access to all local amenities, whilst enjoying a rural location. Behind the property you have direct access to Hameldon Hill, whilst Pendle Hill and the Ribble Valley can be reached in under half an hour, providing many great walks, local pubs and restaurants. The popular market town of Clitheroe is just 10 miles away with many individual shops, cafés, restaurants and a Norman castle. Guests at Barley Heights have access to the wider grounds of Barley Top and stabling can be provided. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

The road to Barley Heights from the main road is via rough track, with some pot holes along the way.

Loved our 4 night stay at barley heights, lovely well equipped cottage in beautiful surroundings, the owner, was extremely welcoming and available if we needed anything.We used Barley heights for the first time to visit family in Burnley, only a few miles away, and will be looking to stay here for our future visits.The only negative i could mention is about a hundred yards of track leading to the cottage is rough and care needed when driving over it.Would highly recommend Barley heights

As much as I loathe to give away the location of hidden gems reluctantly I have to do so. This place was fantastic, brilliant location for walks on the doorstep and a little further afield. Warm, clean and having everything you require. So sadly I must highly recommend it and not just keep it to myself...
