Owners provided comprehensive guest information pack and welcome tea/coffee pack on arrival was very welcome. Would happily book again.

The owners went above and beyond when through no fault of their own we had no gas on New Years Eve (blame lies at the feet of Pure Leisure) they drove a long distance late in the evening to make sure we had extra heaters and hot water bottles and got the problem sorted out the following morning. The lodge was in a nice quiet spot overlooking the lake. I would have no hesitation to book again should we ever need larger accommodation.

The listing advertises swimming but this is not noted as an additional charge and this is very expensive. The cottage would benefit therefore with a hot tub for the price we paid. The site is next to the M6 so the traffic noise is high. The master bedroom window could do with looking at as the noise in the morning woke me and also allows that mild damp smell some cabin type holiday cottages have. Kitchen facilities all good, beds fairly comfy, 3 ensuite useful if a family of 6 staying. Hosts good at responding to queries.
