Guests say

Guests have found 'Our Happy Place' to be a comfortable and well-kept lodge, offering a spacious stay with beautiful views of the lake. The property is praised for its well-stocked kitchen and the added bonus of a games cupboard, which was particularly appreciated by families. The lodge's location provides easy access to both the coast and the Lake District, although some guests found it a bit far from certain attractions. Minor maintenance issues were noted, but overall, the lodge is highly recommended for its value and the relaxing environment it provides.

The lodge is described as clean and tidy on the inside, with only a minor comment about the exterior windows needing a clean. This suggests a high level of cleanliness overall.

The location is generally praised for its beautiful views and proximity to the lake, coast, and Lake District. However, one review mentioned it was slightly too far from their preferred locations, slightly lowering the score.

The lodge is considered comfortable and spacious, but there was a comment about the single beds being uncomfortable, which suggests room for improvement in this area.

Facilities are well-regarded, especially the well-stocked kitchen and the on-site restaurant/pub. A deduction is made for the minor maintenance issue reported during heavy rain.

The welcome pack of treats indicates thoughtfulness by the hosts. However, it should be noted that such gestures are appreciated but not guaranteed for every stay.

The cabin is beautiful and well equipped for your every need. The beds are comfortable and the whole place is spotless. Although there are other cabins around they are well positioned so your privacy is not compromised. We will hopefully return very soon.

Inside nice and clean however, windows on the outside needed a clean. Restaurant/pub on site very good. Would definitely recommend.

Some minor maintenance issues during the heavy rain as loud dripping noise (from outside back twin room) kept us awake. Only scored this a 9 for location as for us it was a little bit too far from where we wanted to be (mostly The Lakes). Not alot to do on site for the kids (except the huge games cupboard which was a god send!) Thanks Karen & Phil. Would definitely recommend to others.
