Reception didn’t tell us and we were stuck at the barrier with other cars behind us. It would also help to have a small welcome pack to advise on where to put the rubbish bags when full, and where to find instruction manuals for equipment. Really liked the property, and its suitability for dogs, and will happily recommend to anyone. Thanks!

The living and dining area is a very relaxing area after a day out at the lakes which we also found comfortable but was lacking some TLC . The windows had not been cleaned for some time with children's hand marks quite visible all over from previous occupants however the cleaners missed this i will never know. The outside was also in need of a good clean lots of cobwebs hanging from the lights, outside furniture had seen better days and could do with replacing. However apart from the things I've mentioned I would be happy to make a return visit .

Again, we found the lodge to be very spacious and comfortable. We have been visiting this site for 15+ years and Parkers Place is one of the best lodges we've stayed in. I do feel though that the lodge needs a little TLC since our last visit. The patio area was extremely slippy. The bottle holder in the fridge had been removed (I assume broken at some point). A few of the kitchen drawers seem to fall off there runners if you pulled them out fully. The mattresses were a little too soft but this is a personal preference. These are all very minor things but could help to improve a stay at Parker's Place. The site is very quiet, safe and clean. I would definitely recommend the beauty salon and gym/pool. I would have no hesitation in booking again and plan to do so. Many thanks for letting us use your lovely lodge.
