Had everything we needed and more. The views are wonderful and the property was very clean. The welcome pack was a lovely touch with wine, milk, tea, coffee, jam, biscuits and croissants. There are so many walks around here, one we loved was Whitewell Stepping Stones. We also had a day out to the Lake District and enjoyed Coniston Waters. Just be aware the main bedroom is right on the main road through the village, so you can be woken early by traffic if a light sleeper. But other than that we had a wonderful time!

It is set in the most beautiful countryside. We really enjoyed our stay there, and would recommend and stay again.

Good local pub (Sherburn arms) which served fantastic food with a good atmosphere. There was 6 of us and we would all love to go back. The owner was in touch before and after the stay with information and making sure everything was running smoothly which was great. Lovely village and lovely part of the world. Would definitely recommend.
