Cleveleys is a bustling town on the Fylde Coast of Lancashire, about 4 miles north of Blackpool. There are a few interesting buildings and landmarks dotted about the town such as the Marsh Mill Windmill, an attractive part of Thornton Cleveleys heritage, and a Grade II* Listed building, which is opened as much as possible by The Friends of Marsh Mill. This is a local group foreseeing its upkeep and allowing visitors to see inside, and marvel at its fabulous and intricate workings. For car enthusiasts, the annual Cleveleys Car Show is on which hosts a wide range of vehicles including Classic Cars, Sports Cars, Modern Classics, American Cars, hot rod, kit cars and Specialist vehicles. Cleveleys seafront is just over a mile long, stretching from the boundary with Blackpool in the south at Kingsway, not far from Anchorsholme Park. Here you see the design of the sea defences, built carefully to keep the water out and prevent flooding. The promenade, cafe, water play area, artworks and easy access are very popular with visitors and local people. Jubilee Leisure Park adds fun-filled facilities with a children’s activity centre, cinema, pub and restaurant. The Affinity Shopping outlet is located next to the small and quaint, Wyre dock and marina for further opportunities to enjoy. There was my mum (73) dad (69) my sister (she has learning disabilities 43) and myself (37). We took our dogs with us too. The home has the perfect location, it's in the middle of everything you need. I do have some feedback. 1) it isn't dog friendly if you have smaller dogs, or even big dogs as you have to go down stairs to get into the back garden. My eldest dog is 12, suffers with epilepsy and is blind, he almost fell down the stairs which is a metal staircase. This isn't told in the description. 2) if you have mobility problems then this property isn't for you either. My mum had to go up 2 flights of stairs to go to bed as she needs to be near the toilet. I have had spinal surgery and I struggled myself. 3) the kitchen is amazing, but the stairs out to the back garden let's it down. 4) the cleanliness wasn't great. We left Tuesday due to my health issues and my dad's. When we arrived home, the day after both my mum & dad were unwell, both have weakened immune systems. It made me wonder because of the lack of cleanliness this may have contributed to both their illnesses. While this feedback may sound negative, for the right family who don't have the same issues as us it would be perfect. Rossall beach is perfect if you have dogs too. There is a park just past the cinema which is ideal for little kiddies.. It just isn't the right property for people with health conditions especially with the stairs being steep too or dogs who are wary of steps.
