Fifteen minutes north is Seahouses with regular boats to the Farne Islands. Dolphins, puffins and seals are regularly seen in this area of outstanding natural beauty. Larger Groups: If you’re holidaying with a larger party (up to 10 guests), Newton Halt North has a sister cottage which sleeps up to 6 and is located next door.

Newton Halt lies adjacent to the railway line and about 100 yards from a level crossing with services up until about 11pm. However, the cottage has both modern sound and thermal insulation and is priced sensibly to reflect its situation. Notwithstanding it enjoys a great location with field and woodland views on the beautiful Northumberland Heritage coastline.
