Jara is spacious, comfortable and has a contemporary interior along with a large private enclosed garden. Perfect for a coastal getaway. Based in Bamburgh with pubs restaurants and shops on the doorstep.
Jara is a stylish stone built cottage with outstanding interiors in the heart of historical Bamburgh. Sitting just below the castle, with the beach on the doorstep, this coastal retreat is tastefully decorated throughout. Accommodation is over 2 levels with three bedrooms, a large sitting room and contemporary kitchen providing excellent holiday accommodation for six guests. Outside there’s a large enclosed garden complete with table and chairs, perfect for children and dogs to let off steam while you relax with a glass of wine and breathe in the sea air.
The property is well located for Bamburgh’s shops, cafes, pubs and of course, the beach - all a short walk away. Don’t miss the Grace Darling Museum and of course the iconic Bamburgh Castle. Take a boat trip to the Farne Islands to view sea birds and grey seals from Seahouses (3 miles) and Holy Island and the nature reserve of Budle Bay are both a short drive away.

Jara is a fantastic property to stay at whilst enjoying the delights of Bamburgh, our favourite place in the UK. A really comfortable property with all the essentials you could ever think of. Fantastic garden with beautiful view of the Castle and only a couple of minutes walk to access the beach and the beautiful restaurants in the village…love Jara!

Fantastic spacious relaxing house in a fabulous location. Only downside is having no soap in the toilets to wash your hands when you arrive. I’ve never stayed anywhere before that doesn’t have any soap when you arrive.

I have sent a separate email to your Customer Services email address today, detailing over 20 points of disrepair and lack of cleaning for this property (with photographs included). Everything was functional so we did not require assistance. I sent an initial list to the owner via text message. It was incredibly disappointing and I hope the issues are rectified for future guests already booked in.
